| Iron phosphate battery pack for export, Establishing a global presence based on domestically  

  produced batteries

Woojoo Solution (CEO Jeong Jae-hoon), a company specializing in the development of batteries for forklifts, has partnered with Remplir (CEO Kim Su-jin), a domestic company specializing in iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells, to develop batteries for Clark forklifts. This collaboration is being evaluated as a project to provide a movable battery power solution based on domestic battery technology to the global market.

The recommended batteries will be supplied under Woojoo Solution's forklift battery brand, K-HIMCELL. The two companies will develop battery pack design, BMS development, system integration, and forklift application technology. They are particularly committed to implementing a high-performance battery pack system through output control, durability design, and vehicle casting technology that considers the maneuverability of power forklifts.

Remplir, a leading expert in iron phosphate battery cells in Korea, will be a key technology partner in this project. Leveraging its domestic production base and proprietary cell technology expertise, Remplir supplies iron phosphate cells that have proven their ability to withstand heat and long-term survival. This allows it to compete on quality, meeting the demands of high-load, long-duration forklift environments. Domestic cell production ensures consistent quality, while simultaneously achieving all this.

Domestic iron phosphate batteries are recognized for their technology in terms of components and durability, and their reach is also highlighted in the latest global battery market. Due to ethical conflicts, the spread of protectionist trade practices, and the reliance on specific countries for battery supply, the global supply chain is most extensive within the country. Establishing a supply chain capable of utilizing domestically produced cells is a crucial competitive factor.

This collaboration not only ensures a reliable global supply chain, but also provides the company with the ability to adapt to the volatility of node-gear and price forklift batteries for export. Furthermore, to ensure battery safety and environmental protection measures that can expand into Europe, we plan to develop products that will be fully technically regulated and fully deregistered.

An official cheered, saying, "This project is an authority that simultaneously validates the manufacturing and system integration capabilities of domestically produced iron phosphate batteries." He added that the enhanced competitiveness of Clark Power forklifts is also expected to expand forklift exports in the global market.
